Craft Your Own Lucky Charm: Needle Felted Gnomes

Get ready to pinch-proof your home décor! Join us for a festive, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the magical art of needle felting. We’ll be transforming loose wool roving into an adorable St. Patrick’s Day gnome—one classic bearded fellow.

Whether you’re a seasoned “felter” or have never touched a barbed needle, this class offers a relaxing way to get creative and celebrate the luck of the Irish.

What You’ll Learn:

• Sculpting Basics: How to build core shapes using wool.

• Surface Design: Techniques to add color over the wool core.  More advanced needle felters will have the opportunity to create further details with more colors.

• Character Details: Techniques for attaching and assembling all pieces together to make a completed gnome.

• Embellishing: Finishing your gnomes with felt shamrocks and other festive accents.

• Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced.

• Materials Provided: High-quality wool roving, felting needles, foam work pads, and decorative shamrock cutouts.

• Take Home: One completed bearded gnome and the skills to keep felting at home!

• Kits for Purchase: A female gnome with braids will be available for purchase for $20.

Note: Needle felting involves sharp needles! This class is best suited for adults and kids above the age of 10 with steady hands. Please be aware you might poke yourself.  Brand new needles will be provided at the class for you to take home.
